Here are some very good reasons to purchase an adult Akita:

WYSIWYG - What you see is what you get! You will see just how big Phydeaux is full grown. No gangly teenagers knocking over your precious knick-knacks. You immediately know if she will "fit" into your home and your car.

Less Supervision - adult Akitas are quite content to "laze around the house" instead of running around the house as young pups are want to do. You don't have to check up on them to see what additional mischief they might be getting into.  Adult Akita care is much less than puppy care.

More Sleep - no ticking alarm clocks wrapped around hot water bottles to soothe the newly arrived puppy just displaced from her littermates. Bladder control (house broken) is much better with an adult Akita.

Intact arms, legs, shoes - teething is complete! You can read a full newspaper and your socks still match.
